Customized Distribution Solution

Action Warehouse currently does blister packaging work for a national automotive aftermarket company (plastic shells are heat glued to hanging cards) that prepares their products for retail display. These products, (tire gauges, air fresheners, tire patch kits, etc) are packaged by automated machines and then distributed to either the big-box-store-end-user or to the customer’s Distribution Center. To start, Action receives the product raw material from the customer’s vendors. After inventorying it, Action pulls this raw material from a bin-specific location storage system, performs the packaging, case-packs the final product and readies it for shipping to the to the proper destination. The account is integrated into the Warehouse Management Computer System (Abacas) so that inventory and scrap can be accounted for.
