 While
storage and distribution remain at the core of the Action Warehouse
resume, contract packaging is moving forward as a value added
service for many Action Warehouse customers.
A host of national customers rely on Action’s BLISTER PACKAGING
department for the retail display of their products.
Action Warehouse has six Alloyd turntable machines that allow for
some of the highest blister production outputs in the Midwest. These
machines allow for hundreds of thousands of blister packages to be
turned out in a single week. However, these machines accommodate
smaller, more intimate jobs as well.
 For
one national customer, Action Warehouse provides the blister
packaging for their aftermarket automobile accessory line. Action
begins by storing all the component parts in their warehouse
including the blister shells and the laminate carding. After
receiving
a product work order from the customer via e-mail, Action then
produces the finished blistered product in the desired quantity.
Action then boxes the product, applies the desired label and ships
it to the retail end-user or back to the company, all the while
keeping track of the component part inventory.
